Mop Basics

ACS Cleaning Products offers a wide variety mop heads to satisfy any application. The following guide is intended to help our customers select the mops that best suit their needs.

Yarn – Because certain yarns are better suited to certain tasks than others, ACS Cleaning Products offers a wide variety of mops made from a wide variety of yarns. It is important to understand that selecting the proper yarn will enable you to achieve maximum mopping efficiency.

Cut-End – More economical than other mop types, Cut-End mop heads tend to fray, lint and unravel with steady use. Non-launderable, these mops need to be replaced more often than other types.

Loop-End – Loop-End mops resist tangles, lint and fraying for more efficient and longer lasting use. Tough enough to stand up to heavy use, these mops have a sewn-in tail band that provides wide surface coverage without gaps. Some Loop-End Mops may be laundered with care.

Order and Prepaid Shipment Minimums:

Minimum order: $2,000
Minimum Prepaid Shipment on ACS Orders
$2,000 foodservice products on Pg. 3-6 from master catalog
$3,000 combined with products such as brooms, mops, floor pads, etc.
$2,000 for floor pad products alone

Payment Terms: Net 30 days

Damaged Goods: If any portion of the shipment is damaged upon arrival, please take delivery and have the carrier acknowledge damage or shortage and make notation on freight receipt.

Return Policy: ACS will not accept returns without prior authorization and the issuance of an ACS return authorization number. Customer will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Products must be under a year old. Products must be of current manufacture. Return freight is paid by the customer.

Price Policy: All prices are list and subject to change without notice. Order from authorized accounts will be accepted with the understanding that prices are those in effect at the time of shipment. These prices are exclusive of all sales taxes which may be levied by state and local governments.

Bids: Contact ACS Bid Department for information on bid requirements. Only stocking distributors will considered for special bid request. Bid numbers must be referenced. POD is required for bill-back deduction off invoice. Stocking Distributor qualifies with annual purchases of $20,000.00 Dollars. Seller is not responsible for the typographical errors made in any of its publications or for stenographic or clerical errors made in preparation of quotations, sales order acknowledgments or invoices. Any such errors are subject to correction. Seller shall not pay cross dock, sort and segregation, detention, lumper or inside delivery at customer locations.
